- Inspected cooling system for overheating concern. Found water pump bearings failing and both upper and lower radiator hose clamps loose. Tightened both radiator hose clamps. Due to the vehicle’s previous overheating events, replacement of the thermostat was recommended, as an overheated thermostat can no longer be considered reliable. Recommended replacement of the water pump and thermostat followed by cooling system testing.

- Verify client concern, perform visual inspection of related systems and components, retrieve and document fault codes, review freeze frame and live scan data, perform preliminary pinpoint tests as needed, and determine probable cause. Provide recommendations for further testing or repair.
- THERMOSTAT &/OR OUTLET – Remove & Replace – 2.5L Eng
- WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace – 2.5L Eng
- RADIATOR – Remove & Replace – 2.5L Eng
- Removed old coolant and flushed cooling system. Refilled with manufacturer-specified coolant. Checked system for leaks and verified proper operation.
